Founder & Coach
Currently, we have a health crisis among educators in low-income public school districts; they work long hours and don’t feel they have the time to eat healthy, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. To unwind, many rely on alcohol rather than healthier ways to de-stress. They don’t realize that their unhealthy lifestyles are not just hurting themselves; they are hurting their students. Few teachers stay in the profession long enough to become highly skilled and highly effective. The result is that classrooms in many low-income public schools in low-income areas are a revolving door of less skilled and less experienced teachers.
Through one-on-one coaching, workshops for school teams, and long-term partnerships with schools, we help teachers and other educators be happy, healthy, and stay in their jobs for years and years. With the right strategies, we help educators fit a healthy diet, regular exercise, and sleep into busy schedules. We help teams changes mindsets towards self-care and performance. We help schools change structures and culture to improve teacher wellness and retention. We understand that teaching is a calling, not just a profession, and that those of us who do it want to our best for our students. Click here to learn more about our services.
